MingleMoon and Friends Terms of Use

Last updated October 1, 2026

These terms cover our apps MingleMoon and Friends, made by HappyDead Designs, and every other app of ours that links to them, in every version and edition. By using any of them you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the apps.

A place to meet people, nothing more

MingleMoon and Friends are places where adults can find and talk to other adults. That is all they are. We don't promise that you will find matches, friends, dates or a relationship, and we don't arrange, take part in or supervise any conversation or meeting. Who you talk to, what you share and whether you meet anyone is your own choice, made at your own discretion and risk.

Community rules

These rules apply everywhere in the apps: profiles, photos, chats and messages, hangouts, gifts and the Lounge. Treat everyone with respect.

If you break these rules, we can remove anything that breaks them and pause or ban your account, including for good. Serious cases, such as threats, anything sexual involving a person under 18, or intimate pictures shared without consent, may be reported to the police or to NCMEC. If you see something that breaks these rules, report it from the profile, chat, hangout, gift or post.

Lounge rules

The Lounge is a public chat room inside the apps. MingleMoon and Friends each have their own Lounge, and everyone in a room can read what you post there. All the community rules above apply in the Lounge, and so do these:

No guarantees

The apps are provided "as is" and "as available". They may have mistakes, stop working for a while, or change, and we may stop offering them.

Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, MingleMoon, Friends and the person who runs them are not responsible for any loss, harm or damage that comes from using the apps or from another member's actions, whether it happens online or when you meet someone in person. If we are ever found responsible for something despite this, then to the fullest extent the law allows, the most we owe you is what you paid us in the 12 months before it happened ($0 if you paid nothing). This doesn't limit any responsibility the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for fraud, gross negligence, or death or injury we cause.

Your rights under the law still apply

Nothing in these terms takes away a right the law gives you, such as the dating-service rights of New York and California residents, or a refund the law or Google Play's own refund policy requires. Purchases also have their own terms, shown in the app before you buy.

Changes, and which law applies

We may update these terms. If a change matters, the app asks you to agree again before you go on. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, except where the law of the place you live says otherwise.
